I have had a strong passion for Instructional Design throughout my double master’s programs, both under the Department of Education. I gained the knowledge needed to design professional development plans through scenarios by facilitating ideas to achieve the goals and objectives as necessary. In the Instructional Design and Applications course, I developed a design project that allowed me to attain the skills needed to create and implement instructional designs with advanced analysis skills for goal analysis and sub-skills analysis. I have prepared the objectives, outlined the procedures, and implemented the research required to create an ideal project design. Furthermore, I have acquired additional knowledge in the Interactive Distance Education course by using Canvas, with a teacher role, to create a module with training sessions as a part of my development plan project. I created discussion boards, assignments, and quizzes as a teacher on Canvas for that project.
Moreover, I have gained CMS web accessibility and website development skills to update web pages as needed. I have also gained much-needed knowledge through graphic design to make my work as an Instructional Designer that much more creative and appealing to the eye. My skill in graphic design also enabled me to work my way up as, not only just an Instructional Designer but also a creative Graphic Designer as well. I excel in workflow management with my ability to be an active contributor and team player. My desire to work with other Designers by redesigning courses, developing curricula, and creating training materials to fulfill instructional goals makes me an ideal candidate for any Instructional Design position out there.
My goal is to continue working as an Instructional Designer with my additional creative skills as a Graphic Designer. I love to create new things, and it doesn’t stop with just instructional design and graphic design, but also includes hand-building ceramics as well as writing to create imaginary and new worlds to escape from our own reality. Nevertheless, I am also extremely passionate about other cultures, especially Japanese culture. One day, I would love to travel around the world to learn more about many cultures. I also love keeping busy with many other hobbies, which include reading, writing, knitting, and ceramics.
