The area of expertise I used for this project was a baking class instruction where I would instruct my learners on how to bake low-carb biscuits that can be eaten completely guilt-free. Technology is the future of learning in my perspective as it has been expanding extremely fast throughout recent years. Therefore, I feel that knowing how to instruct in all kinds of areas of expertise effectively with the use of technology will be ideal just as how I demonstrated in this project. Throughout my studies, I have practiced designing and creating instruction with the use of technology. Moreover, apart from instruction through audio, I have practiced using technology effectively through screen recording, illustrations, graphic videos, graphic design, and so much more.
Identify when and how to use technology as a training and development solution.
I worked on technology needs assessment project where I would need to take notes during my, then, current position on when and how we could use technology as a training and development solution. My job duties at that time relied on the use of technology for the university faculty, where we would help them stay connected remotely while they also taught their course on the main campus. Nevertheless, it was more of a blended classroom environment. As I evaluated during my work hours, I noted how we could use technology during our training and development solutions for our university faculty. It looked like we needed to provide more information on our services for the faculty, and I used an example of using a screen recording video full of instructions for our faculty.
