Managing Learning Programs

Develop and monitor the budget.

I conducted a project where I would need to develop and monitor the budget of an operation expenditures as presented down below. For this budget, I had to formulate a least square projection in order to predict what the future expenses would be like for this specific budget. Along with monitoring a projected expenditures, there were two other spreadsheet tabs I had to formulate to develop the desired budget for those spreadsheets as well. One of the spreadsheet tabs included developing a change plot chart for the cells in that spreadsheet while the other spreadsheet tab included to formulate a table for a t-Test equal variances. Unfortunately, it was difficult to embed the Excel spreadsheet version of the budget; therefore, I had to convert it to a PDF format.

Manage others.

In a technology and educational leadership course, all of my colleagues were assigned a week to monitor and manage each other, and I was assigned to manage my other colleagues for one of the weeks as presented down below. This document that I put together below has all of the management I have done during my week of managing and monitoring my other colleagues. I first started the week with a welcome message to introduce the new discussion board we will have to post for with my own personal insights of the given topic of that discussion board. I would then answer the discussion board as fast as I can so that I can have the discussion board be completely visible for me. I also wanted to be the first one to post since I was the one monitoring that week’s discussion board along with another colleague. I would go to the discussion board daily to make sure I read and reply to all of my colleagues’ posts because I didn’t want to miss any of them. It was my job to monitor and manage my colleagues that week, and I wanted to make sure I have done the best that I could. I also sent a reminder message on that Friday to remind some of my colleagues that haven’t posted in the discussion board yet along with what else I thought about the topic. Lastly, I sent one last closing message on Sunday of my final thoughts and how much I loved reading everyone’s post.
