Evaluating Learning Impact

Select appropriate strategies, research design, and measures.

I have worked on a brief research proposal for an educational research course where I researched articles about career anxiety levels of undecided college students. The purpose of this research proposal was to plan what would be the best professional practice that could help these undecided college students find the best career path. Throughout this research proposal, I have addressed the study of being a qualitative phenomenological research design because my data collection required to use a semi-structured interviewing formate for the participants. The measures of this research proposal involved the sample selection as well as the data analysis with the use of literature reviews on a similar topic as this proposal, and the strategies included the findings and results of the study by looking at the research questions and hypothesis.

Analyze and interpret data.

I worked on a project where I would need to write a literature review of one specific article, and this project allowed me to analyze and interpret data from the article I have selected. Down below is a PowerPoint presentation that I presented to my colleagues about how blogging in higher education institutions can be a powerful tool to engage students on classwork. I analyzed and interpreted the data that was presented in the article to show the importance of blogging to help engage students in discussions via blog rather than the traditional way of classroom participations. I have included notes in this PowerPoint slide for additional knowledge on what I said in my presentation that was not included in the PowerPoint slides.
